Saturday Night Fever The new stage version of Saturday Night Fever hits York this week and it promises to have everyone rocking in the aisles. Anyone familiar with the hit movie musical will know the story of Tony Manero, who is desperate to escape his working-class Brooklyn life and turns to dance in his quest. The stage version at the Grand Opera House in York stars Richard Winsor who has previously appeared in Streetdance The Movie and Casualty. With the music featuring the Bee Gees greatest hits including Stayin’ Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever, Tragedy and More Than a Woman this show promises to be massive fun for fans of the movie. The Chicago Blues Brothers – Motown Mission On the 24th February the Blues Brothers are hitting York in their huge, high energy production bringing the legacy of Jake and Elwood back to life for a new generation!
