Bookings and Reservations
We would like to clarify our policy regarding reservations that have already been made and also to give guests looking to book in the future peace of mind.
Direct Bookings made via York Boutique Lets
If you have made a booking and you are unable to travel to one of our properties due to a legislated localised lockdown, or York is affected by a legislated localised lockdown, then we are offering to hold your payment as a credit and allow you to rebook anytime within the next 18 months. Additional costs may be incurred if there is a difference in price dependant on what date you wish to rebook and this is of course subject to availability.
If you unfortunately have to self-isolate, develop symptoms, or choose not to proceed with your booking due to Covid-19, our cancellation policy still stands in which there are no refunds within 31 days of arrival. As we understand this is a difficult time for everyone at the moment, we are trying to be as flexible as possible by attempting to resell your dates. If they manage to resell, you will then be eligible for a refund of the price the property was resold for. However, it is not guaranteed.
For bookings made from a 3rd party booking site. i.e. Booking.com, Airbnb etc.
Unfortunately cancellation policies differ on each site, please check directly with the booking channel what their policy is. This is not something we can override as we would just refer to the above policy.
